Mirador, the project featuring Jake Kiszka (Greta Van Fleet) and Chris Turpin (Ida Mae), will be releasing a new acoustic EP, titled “The Gathering At Badon Hill,” on May 15 (vinyl out June 19). The effort will feature reimagined tracks from the band’s self-titled album recorded live in a stone barn in England.

“The Gathering At Badon Hill” Track Listing:
01. “Ashes To Earth” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
02. “Feels Like Gold” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
03. “Fortune’s Fate” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
04. “Must I Go Bound” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
05. “Ten Thousand More To Ride” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
The following was said about the recording location:
“‘The Gathering At Badon Hill’ was recorded live in the shadows of an ivy covered 12th century stone barn, set deep within one of England’s oldest landscapes. Encircled by centuries-old graffiti — apotropaic symbols, witch marks, daisy wheels, and pentangles etched into the stones to ward off unseen forces — the single-take performances hit with an intensity the band weren’t ready for.”
Turpin commented:
“While recording one of the tracks, we all felt it, a surge of energy rising and swirling above us into the rafters. It was unlike anything of us had experienced before…it shook us.”
Kiszka added:
“The ground shook, the sky rumbled, and every microphone heard it… rather humorous, considering we had just come to record a few quiet acoustic tracks.”
