Battlesnake have premiered a new song titled “Shepherd Hunter.” This track is from the band’s new album “Dawn Of The Exultants And The Hunt For The Shepherd,” which will be released on June 6. The following was said about the single in an official press release:
“‘Shepherd Hunter’ is the search for Jesus’ long lost twin, the second messiah. The Exultants hunt and track him down for themselves, thus he becomes the Metal Christ, ‘Sanctum Robotos’. With its frantic tempo and driving rhythm juxtaposed against a theatric pre-chorus that turns into chant direct from the underworld, ‘Shepherd Hunter’ is another classic sermon delivered by the ‘Snake.”
