Earlier this year, Metallica paid tribute to Elton John and Bernie Taupin as they were being honored with the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song in Washington, DC. The band covered John’s “Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding” during the event, which aired on PBS. If you missed it, the group have since shared official footage of the performance on YouTube:
