Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction, Porno For Pyros, etc.) has signed a new deal with BMG and plans to release a new solo album, titled “Kind Heaven,” through the label in 2019. The effort carries the same name as his immersive theater experience, which is set to launch at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas next year.
The album will feature a number of special guests including: Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Mike Garson (David Bowie), Matt Chamberlain (Soundgarden), Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction), Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Peter Distefano (Porno For Pyros), Dhani Harrison, Elliot Easton (The Cars), Joachim Garraud (David Guetta), etc. Farrell commented:
“Every concept I’ve ever had began with music as its bedrock. Jane’s Addiction, Lollapalooza and now Kind Heaven. I am energized by my partnership with BMG and their commitment to my music, and to powering it with state of the art technology. Kind Heaven is mixed in Dolby Atmos, Binaurally, and, of course, in Stereo.”
The singer will debut his new solo band and music during The Festival of Lights benefit at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on December 2. That event will support the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation.
