It looks like Prophets Of Rage, the new band featuring Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real, are planning to make a “ruckus” at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, OH this July. You can see Morello talk about that with Bloomberg Politics below. The band’s next show will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA tonight (June 3).
Morello said the following:
“Well there’s a thing called the Republican National Convention in July, and that will be a perfect place for a band like Prophets of Rage to cause a ruckus, and we will be there on the streets, in the field… We have a venue and there may be venues that will be spontaneous venues, it’s hard to say. This is the kind of thing you don’t broadcast to the local authorities prior to arrival.”
He then added:
“We’ll be rocking furiously in and around the RNC.”
In other news, live audio of the band’s entire first show has surfaced:
