MVD Entertainment Group will be releasing a new Wendy O. Williams (Plasmatics) DVD, titled “WOW: Live And Fucking Loud From London!,” on November 18. The film, which was recorded during a 1985 show at Camden Palace in London, UK, originally aired on SkyTV. Notably, the set included a performance of “Jailbait” with Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister and Würzel. Pre-orders can be found HERE.
A new Plasmatics DVD titled “Plasmatics – Live! Rod Swenson’s Lost Tapes 1978-81” is set to be released on May 19. It will also be available on VOD as well. The film is composed of rare footage shot by Rod Swenson. The footage was previously thought to be lost or degraded and it has never been released or edited until now. It was discovered while moving Wendy O. Williams and Plasmatics archive material, and the salvageable material was relabeled, edited, and restored by Randy Shooter.
