During a recent interview on the BREWtally Speaking Podcast, Howard Jones (Light The Torch, ex-Killswitch Engage) was asked if Blood Has Been Shed’s long-rumored album will ever be released and he responded by saying he is not sure if the music will ever surface. Despite this, he went on to say that this “doesn’t mean [the band] won’t see the light of day” at some point.
Jones said the following [transcribed by The PRP]:
“That music, I don’t know if it’ll ever see the light of day. Doesn’t mean Blood Has Been Shed won’t see the light of day.”
He then added the following when asked if the album even exists:
“It’s been a long time since that music has really been discussed, but there have been discussions, and I’ll just leave it at that.”
He also had the following to say when talking about the fact that some fans still have interest in the group, despite their lengthy time away:
“It’s one of those things where at times this thing’s been dead and buried, but then little sparks will happen here and there, so who knows eventually we may get on the same page.”
