Ghøstkid have announced their new lineup. Singer Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler (ex-Electric Callboy) will be joined by drummer David Friedrich (ex-Electric Callboy), guitarist Ian Duncan (Caliban), and bassist Axel One (ex-We Butter The Bread With Butter).

Sushi commented:

“David and I share a long musical history. We stood on stage together in Electric Callboy for almost 10 years, and I’m beyond happy that he decided to support me with Ghøstkid. This is only the beginning of a new chapter for both of us. I can’t wait to share the stage with him again — he’s someone I’ve always considered not only a close friend, but also an important part of my life.”

“Iain and I have known each other for many years through his former band, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and now through Caliban. He has been a close friend for a long time and even took part in the songwriting process for the self-titled album. We have never actually played together in a band before, so this will be a new experience for both of us — and one we’re really looking forward to.”

“Some of you probably know Axel as well from We Butter the Bread with Butter. He’s such a funny guy and has always been nothing but a lovely person, so I can’t wait to hit the road with him. Even though all of us have known each other for many years, playing together in the same band is going to be an interesting journey for all of us.”

With this news, the band have also shared an official video for their new song “I Destroyed You.” That track is from their new album, “Follow The White Rabbit,” which will be released on October 2.
