Slipknot Confirm Sid Wilson’s Departure In Since-Deleted Post

Slipknot have officially commented on the firing of Sid Wilson. The group say they “will no longer be associated” with the turntablist.

Slipknot’s since-deleted post can be read below:

“Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson.

We wish him the best in his future endeavors.

This news follows a TMZ report that suggested he was fired due to bad behavior. Guitarist Jim Root initially told fans not to believe everything they read. However, it seems the news was accurate.

Despite the recent reports, Wilson still introduced himself as a member of the group at the “World Scratch Invitational.” He was also hit with apparent allegations from his ex-fiancé Kelly Osbourne.
