Late Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds is featured on a new CKY song titled “Beware Of The Heartless.” You can stream that track below:

Vocalist/guitarist Chad I Ginsburg commented:

“We were reminded that it was a year since our friend Brent passed away. Brent played a solo on a song we recorded called ‘Beware of the Heartless’ and I thought, ‘why would I leave this on my computer?’ Brent took the time to play on it and we loved him, and in honor of his passing, we were too bummed out in the moment to think about that shit, but I want to throw it out there because I don’t want to hold onto it forever. I want to let go of it and give it to everyone.”

The band added:

“This is the second CKY song to feature Brent’s guitar, following ‘Days of Self Destruction’ from ‘The Phoenix.’

We were supposed to finally hit the UK together last fall, with Brent’s band Fiend Without A Face. We were all looking forward to it, but sadly that never got to happen.

We miss you, Brent.”
