During Metallica’s July 5 show in London, UK, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo performed covers of Black Sabbath‘s “Electric Funeral” and Sex Pistols‘ “Holidays In The Sun“ as part of their “doodle” segment. You can see some fan-filmed footage of that below. Notably, the Black Sabbath cover came exactly one year after Metallica performed at Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Back To The Beginning” show in Birmingham, UK.
