Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man) has shared a live acoustic cover of Converge’s “Farewell Note To This City.” The clip was recorded earlier this month at The Boat Bar in Haverhill, MA. Brodsky commented:
“‘Farewell Note To This City‘ by Converge. One of my favorites to play with them back in the day. They’re currently making a new album, so it feels like the right time for a Converge cover, which I wanted to do since the beginning of this little series. Initially I was messing around with ‘Divinity‘ and thankfully no one will hear what that sounded like – but ‘Halo In A Haystack‘ is essentially what convinced me back in 1995 that the world of hardcore is a place worth venturing both creatively and spiritually. Grateful for their friendship forever (comes crashing)”
