Arch Enemy And Obituary Members Guest On New Savage Lands Song “Ruling Queen”

Savage Lands, the conservationist and musical project that was launched by Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) and Sylvain Demercastel, have premiered a new video for their new song “Ruling Queen.” The track, which features Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Kenneth Andrews (Obituary), is from their new album, “Army Of The Trees,” which will be released on February 14. The royalties from that effort will go towards forest preservation efforts in Costa Rica, Africa, and France.

White-Gluz commented:

“Art and activism converge in a space of meaning, and that is where I choose to stand. Metalheads have always been powerful and passionate people in my eyes. I hold deep gratitude for Savage Lands and their relentless work in safeguarding the fragile beauty of Costa Rica’s ecosystem.”

Andrews continued:

“It has been my pleasure and honor to be part of this unbelievable project. Let’s do our part!”

Verbeuren added:

“Obviously, it’s great when Savage Lands receives support from a huge star like Alissa, but that she also buys into the philosophy behind our organization makes it even better.”
