Chelsea Wolfe has announced a new acoustic EP titled “Unbound.” The effort will be released on November 15 and an official music video for its first single, a piano-driven version of “Place In The Sun,” can be found below:

“In Chelsea Wolfe’s ‘She Reaches Out’ triptych, three voices echo across time, weaving through past, present, and future. Her music becomes a journey of transformation, evolving with each passage while staying deeply rooted in its origin.

Together, these three works form a cohesive tapestry spun from threads of memory, moment, and possibility. At the center stands ‘She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She,’ grounded in the present. Next is ‘Undone,’ which reimagines the dark landscapes of ‘She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She,’ reshaping each track into something at once familiar and profoundly new by artists like ††† (Crosses), Boy Harsher, Full of Hell, and more. While disintegrated and reformed, the songs still carry the essence of where they began.

On ‘Unbound‘, Wolfe strips down songs from ‘She Reaches Out‘ to their raw essence—just her voice, a guitar, or piano—capturing vulnerability and unfiltered truth. The music here is primal, like earth freshly turned. The music stands exposed, stripped and skyclad—each track a rite of passage, a descent into the heart. In this stark landscape, the cover of Spiritbox’s ‘Cellar Door’ concludes the EP, fitting seamlessly into the triptych’s meditation on transformation and letting go.

Wolfe’s ‘She Reaches Out’ triptych is a contemplation on the nature of change. It calls us to reach across time, to grasp the threads of what was and what could be, and to find strength in the act of becoming.”
