After Slipknot fired drummer Jay Weinberg, rumors started circulating regarding the identity of his replacement. One of the prime suspects was Jeramie Kling (ex-Venom Inc., etc.), who seemingly trolled fans with several suggestive posts, the latest of which featured the hashtag “#im666.” Now, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has issued a statement dispelling the rumors of Kling’s involvement:
“To everyone wondering about our new drummer… It’s not him. Stop letting him troll you. He’s not even on the list. #hesnot666”
