Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) has shared a teaser for his new song “Afterglow Of Ragnarok.” The full track will be released on December 1 and it will also appear on the frontman’s upcoming solo album “The Mandrake Project.”
Dickinson commented:
“It was important to set the tone of the project with this track. As befitting its title, it’s a heavy song and there’s a great big riff driving it…but there’s also a real melody in the chorus that displays the light and shade that the rest of the album brings… and just wait until you see the video!”
In other news, Dickinson has also announced a 12-episode comic series, which will be complied into three graphic novels. The 7″ vinyl pressing of “Afterglow Of Ragnarok” will include an eight-page comic prequel to “The Mandrake Project” as well. The physical release will also include a demo version of Iron Maiden’s “If Eternity Should Fail.” Further details are expected to be revealed during Dickinson’s appearance at Brazil’s CCXP23 Comic-Con event.
