Venera, the electronic project featuring Korn’s James “Munky” Shaffer and composer/filmmaker Chris Hunt, have premiered a new song titled “Disintegration.” The track, which features Deantoni Parks (ex-The Mars Volta), is from the band’s self-titled debut album, which will be released on October 13. Hunt commented:
“We hoped to explore drifting, gridless timelines of drums and guitars, which converge midway in a wall of harmony and chorale. Blake [Butler]’s text sees and explodes light and experience in a way that is deeply committed to density and emotion — an honest voice in ‘Disintegration.’”
