Slash Working On “Blues-Oriented” Solo Album

During an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Slash (Guns N’ Roses) revealed that he is working on a new “blues-oriented” solo album. The effort will feature “a bunch of different singers” and will be “sort of similar to [his] first solo record.” One of the guests will be Demi Lovato, who recently worked with Slash on a new version of “Sorry Not Sorry” for her upcoming album “Revamped.” The guitarist said the following about his new record:

“You’re the first person. I’m not telling any more. You’re the first person I’ve even said it to!. It’s been totally under wraps, but it’s definitely coming out next year. … There’s not really much more to tell you at this point, but [Lovato and I] definitely recorded something. Her [album Revamped] is way different than mine. It’s a completely different type of a song, so it’s interesting how diverse her voice can be.”
