Metallica’s 2022 “Helping Hands Concert & Auction” Raised $3 Million For Charity

Metallica’s latest “Helping Hands Concert & Auction” was a huge success. The event, which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on December 16, 2022, ended up raising $3 million for charity.

The band commented:

“With massive support from you, music has been our best tool to help others, and 2022 closed on an incredible high note with overwhelming support for December’s benefit show held in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater. The third Helping Hands Concert & Auction was a record breaker, raising an unbelievable $3,000,000! As always, 100% of the funds raised by All Within My Hands will go to the Foundation’s efforts supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.

The event wouldn’t have been the success that it was without the help of the night’s host, Jimmy Kimmel, an opening set from Greta Van Fleet, guest appearances from St. Vincent and Robert Downey Jr., all the honorees who do essential work year-round, our sponsors including Carhartt, Virgin Hotels, Analog Devices, to name a few, and of course YOU! To everyone who bought tickets, streamed the show on Parmount+, participated in the auction, or donated any amount: none of this would be possible without the Metallica Family.”
