DC Comics have recruited various metal artists to appear on the covers for a seven-issue “band edition” of their “Dark Nights: Death Metal” series. The comics will be published monthly starting in March and they will each feature “a variant cover spotlighting a different metal band, an introduction from the band and exclusive interview.” However, they will only be available in the following countries: France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Turkey. A collectors’ omnibus edition will also be available in Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Korea, and Japan. Here’s all of the covers:

This news comes after DC Comics previously recruited rock/metal artists for an animated “Dark Nights: Death Metal” series and after it was announced that Loma Vista Recordings will be releasing “Dark Nights: Death Metal The Original Soundtrack” later this year.
