Listen To One Of Late All That Remains Guitarist Oli Herbert’s Final Recordings

A Dead Desire’s Moroni Silva has shared a new cover of Eurythmics‘ “Here Comes The Rain Again.“ The track features late All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert and a video for it can be seen below. Silva told MetalSucks the following: “Oli was a good friend and wanted to release the song at the start of the rain season, so it was released on the New Moon of the 5th of this month and dedicated to him.”

Unfortunately, Herbert’s widow Beth has taken issue with track. She issued the following statement:

“Hello everyone. This is Beth. I am aware that something was released that contained my husband’s work on it that was not finished before his death. To be clear, if anything is to be released after Oli’s death and it isn’t All That Remains material, you need me, the executrix of the estate to sign off on it. Also, probate was not opened until this year so any arrangements after my husband‘s death for his material but before I was named executrix is unenforceable.”

Herbert’s body was found in a pond near his home in Stafford Springs, CT back in October 2018. Police have been investigating his death ever since, treating it as suspicious. One week before his death, the guitarist signed a will making Beth the sole executor and benefactor.

Back in February, All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte said he couldn’t comment on the ongoing investigation, but did say Beth is a “garbage human being.”

Fans and friends have long thought Herbert’s death was suspicious and have been sharing evidence on a Justice For Oli Herbert Facebook page.
