Bruce Dickinson’s “Scream For Me Sarajevo” Documentary To Be Screened In U.K. Cinemas In April

From April 5, 1992 to February 29, 1996, about 14,000 were killed during the Siege of Sarajevo. Despite the violence in the area, Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and his band Skunkworks ended up playing a show in the city back in 1994. Now, that concert is being documented in a new film called “Scream for Me Sarajevo.” The documentary will hit UK theaters on April 17, with a full list of cities available at Dickinson previously discussed the performance in “What Does This Button Do?”:

“We weren’t protected, there was no plan and the bullets were real, but fuck it, we went anyway. The gig was immense, intense and probably the biggest show in the world at that moment for the audience and for us. That the world didn’t really know didn’t matter. It changed the way I viewed life, death and other human beings.”
