Dead Cross Cancel Last Night’s Show In Los Angeles, CA After Mike Patton Gets Injured In An Accident

UPDATE: Dead Cross have now confirmed that Mike Patton’s injuries were due to a skateboarding accident and that the band plan to play at El Rey theater in Los Angeles tonight (August 22). Their publicist said the following:

“Patton is okay. He is getting stitched up and is raring to go. He thought he could skateboard to the show last night but he suffered a bad wipeout on the way.”

Last night’s (August 21) Dead Cross show at El Rey in Los Angeles, California was cancelled after vocalist Mike Patton (Faith No More) got into an accident. Mike Crain (Retox) and Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer) took the stage to address the crowd (see below video):

Crain said the following:

“There’s been an accident. Mike was in an accident. It’s not grave, but he’s unable to be here tonight. He’s hurt. So I’m sorry. We apologize. We’re gonna reschedule. And tickets will be refunded at points of purchase.”

Lombardo added:

“On behalf of the band, we’re really sorry.”

The band’s publicist also commented:

“Mike Patton was involved in a minor accident last night en route to the Los Angeles date of Dead Cross‘ current tour. Tonight’s performance has been canceled but a decision has yet to be made about the remaining dates.”
