Filmmaker Andrew Bennett has officially released the Deftones documentary, titled “Entertain Me: A Film About Deftones,” which can be found HERE. Although, the band’s management, Velvet Hammer, has told The PRP, that Bennett did not have the “proper permissions” to release it.
Velvet Hammer said the following:
“Andy Bennet has no rights to exploit any Deftones material and anything he does using the band’s name, songs or performances will be dealt with in the most severe way. The Deftones are committed to providing their fans with the best possible musical and artistic experience. Bennet is a naked infringer of the Deftones rights, and we will do whatever is necessary to prevent this alleged “filmmaker” from creating a poor experience and making money off of some sub-par product he’s trying to put out without securing the proper permissions from the band, their label and their song publishers.”
