During their September 7 show at The Blooze in Phoenix, AZ, Dead Groove were joined onstage by former Megadeth members David Ellefson and Jeff Young for a cover of “Peace Sells.” You can see fan-filmed footage of that below:
Several Megadeth singles have obtained new gold/platinum certifications from the RIAA. Among them are “Symphony Of Destruction,“ which has gone platinum, “Peace Sells,” which has gone gold, and “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,“ which has gone gold. The band were presented with plaques following their August 24 set in Irvine, CA.
Megadeth’s David Ellefson recently reunited with his former bandmate Chris Poland during a September 5 show at the Slidebar in Fullerton, CA. You can see footage of them performing Megadeth’s “The Conjuring” and “Peace Sells” with John Bush (Armored Saint, etc.) on vocals below: [via Blabbermouth]
