Sammy Hagar’s “High Tide Beach Party & Car Show” has been cancelled. That event was supposed to be held in Huntington Beach, CA on September 28-29. State Parks superintendent Kevin Pearsall told ocregister.com that the festival was scrapped due to its production company Freeze Management failing to pay fees, including some related to public safety. Hagar said he was “surprised and very disappointed to learn of the cancelation” and “more than anything” he was “sorry to inconvenience the fans.” Festival organizers also commented:
“Due to being denied the necessry permit submitted on 12-16-18 from California State Parks the High Tide Party & Car Show scheduled for September 28 & 29, has been canceled. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to relocate the events. All ticket holders will automatically receive a refund through official ticketing outlets, Front Gate Tickets and GroupOn.”
