On May 12, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl played a special acoustic benefit show for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA. During Foo Fighters’ May 4 show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, the band invited an 8-year-old fan, who Dave Grohl called “Little Fonzie”, onstage to play drums with them. However, once he got up there he refused to leave the stage. You can see how that turned out below:
During their April 29 set at Welcome To Rockville, Foo Fighters were joined onstage by John Travolta and Billy Idol. Travolta performed a partial cover of the “Grease” song “You’re The One That I Want”, while Idol peformed a cover of John Lennon‘s “Gimmie Some Truth.”
Foo Fighters have shared a video of them rehearsing a mash-up of Van Halen’s “Jump” and John Lennon’s “Imagine” for their upcoming summer tour. Foo Fighters performed their song “The Sky Is A Neighborhood” at this year’s BRIT Awards, which were held at the O2 Arena in London, UK yesterday (February 21). You can see footage of that below. In other news, the band also won the ‘International Group’ award at the ceremony as well.
