Amen’s Casey Chaos Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Woman At His Home

According to TMZ, Karim Chmielinski, aka Amen frontman Casey Chaos, could be facing a felony charge for domestic violence. The singer was arrested on June 4 following a violent altercation between him and a woman at his San Fernando Valley area home. When police arrived at the house, they found the woman with a bloodied face, but she ended up refusing medical aid. It is unknown what the relationship between Chmielinski and the alleged victim is, but he claimed she is not his girlfriend. The vocalist was released on a $50,000 bond and his attorney Elon Berk had the following to say about the situation:

“It’s clear that these accusations against Casey are absolutely false. The house where the alleged incident occurred was full of witnesses who have all given statements to police and are willing to testify in court as to the falsity of these accusations.”

Ex-Slayer Drummer, Dave Lombardo, Joins Amen

According to Blabbermouth, Dave Lombardo (Ex-Slayer) has joined the band Amen. He will be featured on the band’s new album, and be part of the band’s immediate touring plans.

Lombardo said the following about joining:

“I am very proud to have been asked to be part of this amazing production with Casey Chaos and Ross Robinson.

My career in thrash was created from my love of the punk genre. There is an excitement in this particular style of music that’s vital for me. It’s aggressive, honest and needed.

I’m looking forward to performing with AMEN before returning to Europe with PHILM in September.”

Amen vocalist, Casey Chaos said the following:

It’s great to be working again with Dave, this time in AMEN. He brought so much power, aggression and passion to the music on the new record, in a way only he could only deliver. Without question this is THE most important album I’ve ever made. I’m looking forward to unleashing it live and destroying ourselves for your pleasure!”
