During My Chemical Romance’s October 30 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, frontman Gerard Way offered an update on the band’s new album plans. He told the crowd the following:
“Next year, we want to go make a record, so we’re probably not doing any shows and there’s no secret code to that… I mean, maybe if we get really rusty while we’re making something, we’ll be like, ‘alright, lets call the band ‘Helena’ or something’, and we’ll show up. But seriously, we want to go do that and then hopefully we’ll see you guys in 2028.”
