Ruins Of Perception have premiered a new video for their new song “The Crimson Key.” You can check that out below. The track is from the band’s new EP, “Witchcraft And Cruelty,” which will be released on January 15. The group commented:
“Our new single, ‘The Crimson Key‘, marks the start of the journey with one of the darkest figures in European folklore: Bluebeard. The song draws inspiration from the tale of a cruel nobleman whose wives meet horrific fates when they disobey his commands. His newest bride is given access to his castle, but forbidden from opening one particular door. When curiosity overcomes obedience, a seemingly insignificant key becomes the instrument of her terrible discovery. ‘The Crimson Key’ explores the sinister relationship between power, forbidden knowledge and inevitable doom.”
