Chained Saint have premiered a new song titled “Snakeskin.” You can find a lyric video for that track below. The single is from the band’s new EP “Rise To Fall,” which will be released on October 9. That effort will feature five tracks: “Drive,“ “Punk,“ “Rise To Fall,“ “Snakeskin,“ and “Uncrowned.“

The group commented:

“‘Snakeskin‘ feels like the beginning of the next chapter for Chained Saint. We’ve grown a lot since Blindside, as musicians, as songwriters, and especially from being out on the road and playing these songs in front of people. One thing we keep getting asked after shows is how we describe our sound, and we still don’t really have a perfect answer. It’s just…us. There’s thrash, hardcore, and groove all living in the same place, and that combination has become a much bigger part of who we are as a band.

With this new material, we leaned into that even more, the speed, riffs and aggression of thrash, the weight and raw energy of hardcore, and the kind of groove that makes the songs hit differently live. We started pushing further into that fusion naturally, without trying to force it into one specific lane. The new EP is heavier, more aggressive and more focused, while still keeping the classic metal foundation that’s always been part of who we are. ‘Snakeskin‘ is the first real look at that evolution and where Chained Saint is headed next, and we couldn’t be more excited for people to hear what’s coming.”
