Squid Pisser have premiered a new video for their new song “Tumors.” You can check that out below. The track is from the band’s new EP, “Throat Slave,” which will be released on August 28.
Vocalist Baxter Yogurt commented:
“A tumor is just a chaotic mass of cells growing out of control without a purpose. A destructive asshole feeding off another life form because it can’t survive on its own. The song is about people who spread chaos wherever they go while hiding behind manipulation, posturing, fear, and false confidence. People like that can seem larger than life until you realize they’re just total parasites with no real personality of their own.
They’re faking everything they pretend to be, scrambling desperately and loudly for attention, conflict, and other people’s pain because there’s nothing of substance underneath. Even their identity is borrowed… Stitched together from the people they’ve used, envied, and tried to become. It’s about seeing through that illusion and recognizing these people for what they really are: cowardly, pathetic, and ultimately insignificant.”
