Our Common Collapse have premiered a new video for their new song “Invertebrate.” You can check that out below. This news comes afer the band recently signed with Periphery’s 3DOT Recordings.

Guitarist Elliot Merriman commented:

“Lyrically, ‘Invertebrate’ is more direct than much of our previous work. Rather than leaning too far into surrealism and ambiguity, it explores the spineless people who exploit those around them, always looking to take more than they’re willing to give, and the lasting impact they can have on a person’s sense of self and autonomy. While rooted in personal experiences, the themes are meant to resonate on a broader level.”

He also added:

“We’ve spent a long time writing and refining this new material and we can’t wait for everyone to hear a more evolved, fully realized version of the band. Every decision from the songwriting to the production was made with the intention of pushing our sound further while staying true to the music we enjoy listening to and creating. This is only the beginning of what we’ve been working on.”
