Dogma have premiered a new video for their new song “My Matricidal.” The track is the band’s second release since three former members accused their management of “manipulation,” “mistreatment,” etc. and launched their own project Vindicta. Singer Lilith said the following about the single:
“The themes explored in ‘My Matricidal’ are not really about betrayal. They are about recognition. There comes a moment in every person’s life when something they believed, trusted, or accepted can no longer withstand reality. Most people spend their energy focusing on the deception itself, but I think the more important question is what happens after the truth becomes impossible to ignore. Some people retreat into anger or denial. Others choose to learn from it and move forward with greater clarity. That moment of choice has always fascinated me because it ultimately shapes the direction of a person’s life. The truth reveals itself in time. What you do with it is your responsibility. You shape your fate.”
