Stitched Up Heart have premiered a new song titled “Beast.” The track, which features Nonpoint’s Elias Soriano, is from the band’s new album, “Medusa,” which will be released on June 12. Frontwoman Alecia “Mixi” Demner commented:
“’Beast’ is my inner monster finally getting off the leash and going full Frankenstein in a graveyard. It’s that part of me that’s been politely caged up for years, but now is chugging adrenaline and demanding a mosh pit. The track feels like summoning a zombie monster truck, with riffs that sound like the revving engines of dirt bikes, flipping over tombstones, & layered screams like frosting on a horror cake. The song is even better with Elias (of Nonpoint)’s raw vocal performance. No more hiding the chaos, just unleashing it. The world’s been way too polite lately, and I felt it needed something that screams, ‘Wake up and dance in the dirt!’ It’s got that graveyard smash vibe, fun yet feral. Plus, after holding back the beast for so long, why tease? Unleash the monster mash and let the screams begin!”
