Last night (November 8), Soundgarden were among the inductees during the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The band were inducted by actor/comedian Jim Carrey, who was also joined by Lilly Cornell Silver, the daughter of the late Chris Cornell. The band also took the stage for a live performance of “Rusty Cage” with Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless) and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) and a live performance of “Black Hole Sun” with Brandi Carlile, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), and Momsen. Original bassist Hiro Yamamoto took part as well. Furthermore, Cornell’s other daughter, Toni Cornell, and Nancy Wilson (Heart) also performed an acoustic cover of “Fell On Black Days.” You can see footage of all that below:
