Spaced have announced a new EP titled “No Escape.” The effort will be released on October 17 via Pure Noise Records.

Vocalist Lexi Reyngoudt commented:
“I want this record to reach new people and show them that hardcore doesn’t have to just be the tough guys. It can be anybody. We’re a band that loves to play with the heaviest of bands and the softest of bands, and that’s what’s really cool about this. People have called us a gateway band, and to be in a scene like this is, I think, just the coolest thing.”
A video for the first single, “Cause And Effect,” can be found below. Reyngoudt added the following about that:
“This song expresses the anger and frustration we feel about our current society and the norms that are placed upon us. We’re told to be quiet and just obey but we really should be fighting back and speaking our minds. ‘Cause and Effect’ is an anthem for the times: ‘You pushed us too far; now it’s time we push back.’”
