Saxon have shared footage of “Heavy Metal Thunder” from their set at the 2024 Hellfest. The full performance will be released as a new live album, titled “Eagles Over Hellfest,” on June 13. That effort will be available as a 2-CD set along with “Hell, Fire And Damnation,” a standalone double vinyl, and digitally. Frontman Biff Byford commented:
“‘Heavy Metal Thunder’ is a classic that always goes down well live. It’s from our new release, ‘Eagles Over Hellfest’, which we recorded at the French festival on our ‘Castles & Eagles’ show last year. It was great to close the evening after Metallica’s set!”
