Emberthrone (ex-Fallujah, etc.) have premiered a new song titled “Dulling The Blade.” You can check that out below. The band’s new EP, “Cursive,” will be released on July 4. Vocalist Monte Barnard said the following about the single:
“This is my favorite song Martin [Bianchini] and I have ever written together. Martin and I go back almost 20 years, and Quentin [Garcia] has been with Emberthrone since day one, their writing has shaped the core of our sound. Bringing in Andrew [Baird] on drums took things to another level. ‘Dulling the Blade’ explores how we cope with the weight of daily life, sometimes in healthy ways, and sometimes through self-destruction. It’s about the things we think are helping us, but may actually be making things worse.”
