Megadeth have officially started work on their next album. Frontman Dave Mustaine confirmed the news to members of the band’s Cyber Army fan club. A fan shared a summary of the message on Reddit:
“Dave [Mustaine] posted a message for Cyber Army members where he said he’s moving to the studio alongside producer Chris Rakestraw (‘Dystopia,’ ‘TSTDATD’) for the next 6 months to write and record the new album! James [LoMenzo], Dirk [Verbeuren] and Teemu [Mäntysaari] are sending song ideas from home and they’ll all reunite in the studio later on. Work on the new album officially started in November this year.”
