Jane’s Addiction’s guitar/bass tech Dan Cleary has shared audio of frontman Perry Farrell’s isolated vocals from the band’s September 13 show in Boston, MA. That concert infamously saw Farrell attacking Dave Navarro onstage and bringing about the apparent end of the group. The audio, which can be heard below, shows Farrell giving a terrible performance. Cleary previously claimed Farrell’s lackluster display resulted in the band huddling together to discuss how they could save the show. However, the singer allegedly took issue with this and started screaming lyrics at them. From there, things boiled over and resulted in the highly publicized altercation. Notably, Farrell has apologized for the incident and is now seeking professional help.
