Megadeth and Peter Frampton both had to cancel recent live shows at Virginia Credit Union Live! at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, VA. Megadeth were set to perform on September 15, while Frampton was set to perform on September 17. Both artists cited unforseen circumstances, but Frampton now appears to be putting the blame on Megadeth’s soundcheck at the venue. He said the following during his September 19 show at The Met in Philadelphia, PA:
“So, we had a show canceled the other day because of weather. And also Megadeth did a soundcheck, I think a couple of days before our show, and after they finished their soundcheck, there was structural damage to the stage. I’m not blaming them — could have been another band — but it looks pretty like it. So, sorry, Megadeth. I had to rat on you.”
