Earlier tonight (September 17), Linkin Park performed their latest single, “The Emptiness Machine,” live on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” That track is from their new album, “From Zero,” which will be released on November 15. You can see footage of the performance and an interview with guitarist, vocalist, etc. Mike Shinoda below. This marks the band’s first television appearance since returning with Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) in place of their late frontman Chester Bennington, Colin Brittain in place of their former drummer Rob Boudron, and Alex Feder in place of their guitarist Brad Delson. Notably, the group’s reunion continues to be a divisive issue due to Armstrong’s apparent ties to Scientology and past support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson. The singer previously commented on the controversy surrounding her support of Masterson, but has failed to address the Scientology claims.
