According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit filed against Marilyn Manson by his ex-assistant Ashley Walters will be heading to trial on June 2, 2025. The complaint, which was revived following a previous dismissal, was initially filed for sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more.

Walters‘ lawyer James Vagnini commented:
“We are happy that the delays are behind us and that we will have an opportunity to depose Mr. Warner and present all the facts to a jury next year. We are confident they will acknowledge the harm done to Ms. Walters and deliver a resounding message to survivors of such terrible abuse.”
As previously reported, Manson has been facing allegations from a number of women who came forward after being inspired by Evan Rachel Wood, who claimed that the shock rocker “horrifically abused [her] for years.” Among those who shared their stories were Ashley Morgan Smithline, who accused him of sexual assault before recanting her statements, Esmé Bianco, who settled a lawsuit in which she accused him of abuse and human trafficking, Bianca Allaine, who described him as the “most terrifying person [she has] ever met in [her] life,” one unidentified woman, who recently settled a rape and death threat lawsuit, and another unidentified woman, who filed a lawsuit after claiming he sexually assaulted her when she was 16.
For his part, Manson has continued to deny the allegations, while also lamenting the impact they have had on his career. He also filed a lawsuit against Wood for defamation, but has since been ordered to pay her legal fees. Despite all this, Manson will be returning to the road this summer.
