Mercyful Fate have parted ways with bassist Joey Vera. A replacement has yet to be revealed, but it’s worth noting that Becky Baldwin filled in for Vera during the band’s 2022 North American tour. Frontman King Diamond commented:
“Our friendship and respect for each other will always remain the same, and we all sincerely wish each other the absolute best for the future.”
