Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) has premiered a new song titled “Already Over.” You can check that out below:
Shinoda commented:
“‘Already Over’ came to me as I was sitting with my favorite guitar in my hands — the same guitar I used on songs from ‘What I’ve Done’ to ‘In My Head’. There was a familiar DNA to the song that I think Linkin Park fans will recognize. For me, it creates a bridge from the past to a blurry but exciting future.”
He also revealed that he will soon be releasing an online game connected to the single:
“In the bigger picture, this release takes some of my favorite things about releasing music and assembles them in a different way — with more music, games, challenges, great things to watch, and lots of new art on the way.”
In other news, Shinoda has also teamed up with “Beat Saber” for a new music pack. He had the following to say about that collaboration:
“I’m beyond excited to once again be partnering with Beat Saber to give fans and players even more music by me, Linkin Park, and Fort Minor, and I’m especially excited to share my new single ‘Already Over’ through the platform. It’s an honor that Linkin Park is the first band to have a second music pack and I hope everyone enjoys playing the new tracks.”
