During a recent appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” Margot Robbie (“Suicide Squad,” etc.) defended her love of heavy music. The actress says she listened to a lot of metal as a kid and that she “still genuinely like[s] it.”
Robbie said the following after Norton asked if she had a goth phase as a teen:
“I don’t know if I was a full goth. Very emo though, and I listened to, like, only heavy metal music. I would dye my hair black and only cut it with a razor blade….so yeah, kinda goth.”
She also defended her music tastes after fellow actress Cate Blanchett (“Thor: Ragnarok,” etc.) asked if anyone actually likes heavy metal:
“I genuinely — and I still genuinely like it. I really like it. I remember going to the Slipknot concert, and… at the time I was on ‘Neighbours‘. I’ve never had more people come up to me, ever, than at a Slipknot concert… It was so unexpected. And they worried about all the characters… They were so invested in ‘Neighbours‘ and Slipknot.”
This news comes after Robbie previously expressed her love for artists such as Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine, etc.
