Incubus’ Brandon Boyd has officially commented on the band’s recent concert postponements. As it turns out, the vocalist was unable to perform due to a thrown out back.
Boyd said the following on Instagram:
“Hello everybody, I wanted to take a moment to update you guys as to what was going on with Incubus show postponements. Fortunately nobody has COVID, everyone is healthy and happy. I just threw my back out a few days ago and I’ve never had an experience like this before. I couldn’t as of the past few days really do anything other than just sort of lay there and wait. Today I could take some deep breaths, I’m definitely heading in the right direction. And so we’re gonna be back in the saddle, so to speak, sooner than later. I also want to thank you guys for all the well wishes that have been coming through. We have such amazing listeners and supporters out there, so thank you. And also I’d like to apologize for any inconvenience this may caused for you guys coming to the shows. But we’re gonna be back at it very quickly, I love you guys.”
