On July 28, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi performed during the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, England. The guitarist and saxophonist Soweto Kinchled helped lead a “dream sequence,” called “Hear My Voice,” during the event. The City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and a 700-strong community choir also took part.
