During his June 11 show in New York, NY, original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley took a shot at the band’s frontman Paul Stanley for his alleged use of pre-recorded tracks. Frehley told the crowd the following:
“This song’s a great song written by Mr. Paul Stanley. By the way, we don’t use tapes. Anyway, this one’s about a city in the Midwest on Lake Michigan. It’s called ‘Detroit Rock City.'”
